FIRST PRIZE:
$1,000 Concord University Scholarship for Spring 2009 Semester
SECOND PRIZE:
$500 Concord University Scholarship for Spring 2009 Semester
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
All undergraduate students who are enrolled at Concord University in Spring 2008 are eligible to compete for these scholarships, which will be applied toward the winners' educational costs through the Concord University Financial Aid Office.
BASIS FOR AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS:
Contestants will write extemporaneous essays on topics based on assigned reading material. The contestants' essays will be evaluated by a panel of Concord University Faculty Members.
•When: Friday, February 20, 2009, 3:00 - 5:30 P.M. (Arrive by 2:45 P.M.)
•Where: Computer Lab, Marsh Hall 307
