Concord Mountain Lions come up big on 2009 Signing Day in College Football

Concord University is pleased to announce its 2009 Recruiting class. The Class concentrated on all areas as it has 10 players on offense, 9 players on defense, and both a punter and kicker. "We felt it was important to add some speed and athleticism to our roster" stated new head coach Mike Kellar. "It was just as important that we did it while bringing in quality young men that both the school and community can be proud of." Concord is expected to sign several others in the upcoming weeks. "I couldn't be more proud of my staff for going out and signing a class of this caliber. These kids where highly recruited by other schools but they chose to come to Concord and be a part of something special. That excites me and makes us all feel good about the future of Concord football." Added Kellar
