Marsh Library’s hours have been extended. The library is now open until midnight Sunday through Thursday.

Many students had seen problems with the Library only being open until ten. Student President Jeff Yeager was among those students and decided to address the issue.

Yeager said, “I sat down and ate breakfast with Dr. Aloia shortly after being elected to the Presidency last year. He and I both agreed to contribute $1000 a piece out of our respective budgets to keep the study area room open to midnight each night in the library.”

The whole library will not be open for student use during the extended hours.  After ten, only the two study lounges will be available.

The new hours are aimed to give students with jobs and complicated schedules access to a study environment.
