Well, Concord University is back in its usual swing of things. Its come to my attention lately, as with half the student population at Concord, that the Internet has been inconsistent.

Wireless and dorm rooms alike are having problems accessing this vital resource for the everyday college student. As like every year, Concord is having problems with supplying its students with what is a basic resource.

Considering most professors give out homework requiring research through internet sources, emailing assignments into them, or turning things into the popular anti-cheating website: turnitin.com; I feel that this is one necessity that

Concord should make sure is always readily available for access. Yes the weather has not been the greatest as of late, but since we are on top of a mountain I feel like this is something Concord should watch out for and be prepared for.

What makes this problem even more infuriating is the simple fact that the Internet will work for someone right next you when your struggling to get a signal at all.

Or, in comparison, it will work for the computers in the Library, but the Library’s Wireless will be down. This in consistency can be very annoying for students. Especially for on-campus students, who lean on the Concord Internet at all times, having no outside source like an apartment’s internet to rely on.

This issue is a huge problem, especially if Concord professors expect to have assignments turned in on time, or to be checked for plagiarism. An issue, mind you, that happens every year, several times a year. Wouldn’t you think that Concord would have realized this and solved the bad Internet connection?

I'd like to see an article getting to the source of the problem... Show us facts and interviews.
Then maybe we can fix it.
