Concord University’s financial aid office extended office hours Monday, January 11, Tuesday, January 12, and Wednesday, January 13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sherry Brogan of the financial aid department said, “The hours were extended to help students that were unable to get to the office during regular work hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.” Although the office hours were extended for three days, the day students utilized the most was Tuesday. “I think extending the office hours was helpful for some students, but more students came during regular office hours,” Sherry said. The financial aid office usually sets aside dates to focus strictly on students such as “Trick or Treat Tuesdays” in October of last semester. Sherry said, “We will probably have extended hours just during the first week of registration for both the fall and spring semesters.”

The financial aid office is also available to help students with filing FAFSA. If you have a question or need a computer to fill your FAFSA out, you can stop by the financial aid office for assistance. They will answer any question you may have as best as they can as well as supply a computer to fill it out electronically.
